Palm to launch Treo Pro without US carrier
NEW YORK (AP) - Palm Inc. announced Wednesday it will sell a new smart phone aimed at business users this fall, but it won't have the backing of a U.S. carrier. The Treo Pro, a slimmer, redesigned phone similar in features to the Treo 800w Palm sells through Sprint Nextel Corp., will be carried in Europe by Vodafone Group PLC and O2 and in Australia by Telstra.

Clear Channel Radio traffic network expands
SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Clear Channel Radio's Total Traffic Network said Monday it expanded its real-time traffic data network to an additional 15 markets. The increase boosts the network's total coverage to 95 markets and more than 200 million people, the company said.
